Tell us something about this picture

This photo was accidentally shot on a roll that had been previously exposed. My friend Brandon and I were running around in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains sprinting down cinder cones. We went back a week later to re shoot it without an overlay but he tripped and sprained his ankle. He was in a cast for a long time after that.

Tell us something about this picture

This picture was taken last summer in Navacerrada. It was a very hot day in the city, so my boyfriend and I decided to go to the mountains in the north of the Madrid region. We took a walk in the woods and found these enormous piles of lumber. He didn’t know he was being photographed and I had to be quick before he moved, because he was in the perfect position for the shot. I was especially careful with the exposure because the sunlight was very bright and direct.

Tell us something about this picture

Well, this is a deer that we surprised in the woods. We stared at it, it stared at us. I took a picture. This happened at the top of a very steep, round hill on the west coast of Washington, USA. We had just emerged from the wet, dark tunnels of a long-abandoned WWII-era bunker and gun emplacement that sits atop this hill, when we came upon this deer.
