Who are you Julia?

I’m a 23 year old singer/producer/art director/graphic designer to sum it up a little

How did you get into music production?

I’ve been making music since i was little and a couple of my friends were doing electronic music so i got into it because it seemed really fun to be able to make tracks on your own without the need of an actual ban

What’s your equipment?

I have an Prophet 08′, a kind of decent mic to record my vocals, NI Maschine, Ableton Push, a Drum Pad that i usually only use for live sets and a couple of little toys!

Is your cat some kind of “muse” for you? :)

That’s weird haha

Can you tell us how you met Andrea, the story behind you two?

We grew up in the same city but only met when he went to live in Paris a year before i did, we always had the same music taste so we started to help each other a little and now we live together and get to spend every minute of the day with each other which is pretty awesome!

Give us few musicians you are listening to at the moment?

Going back to Dpat‘s album right now, his music is truly special
Have also been listening to some Mulatu Astatke lately

Do you live from your music now?

I still have a day time job working as a art director/graphic designer, it’s way harder than you’d think to live from your music

What’s next for you?

Starting to work on a massive EP that should be out in september

Do you put your own tracks during parties with your friends?

When i have something new that i want input on, yeah, otherwise it’s always a little awkward to listen to your own music

What are you going to do just after answered to this final question?

Poor myself a cup of tea, cuddle a little with my cat and probably get some work done!
