Where are you right now precisely ?

At this very moment, I am at my house in San Francisco. In the Mission neighborhood, to be more precise.

What’s your intention when you take a picture ?

I see things in my head in the moment they are happening, the act of transferring that image i see in my head to film is really rewarding and I like to get that rewarding feeling as often as I can. So the intention.. i guess it is mostly selfish.

When and where were you born ?

I was born on August 13, 1986 in Laguna Beach, California.

Can you give us a photographer you really like ?

There are so many of them out there, but i really like Luke Byrne’s stuff. A lot of the local photographers here in SF are very inspiring as well.

What camera(s) do you use ?

My Olympus XA goes everywhere, and occasionally my Canon A1 and Mamiya 645 go out with me too.

Where would you want to go to take photos ?

Anywhere that requires an adventure to get there? Maybe I should go to France? I probably shouldn’t respond with questions in an interview. I don’t think that will get us very far. Let’s go to Alaska.

Do you have projects at the moment or plans for the future ?

No big plans really, I want to make zines, I want to start planning another bike tour. I don’t know where that trip will take me though. I think buying a van and driving it really far in one direction might be a good idea too.
